Job Title: Vice President of Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Craft and execute comprehensive strategic initiatives aimed at maximizing operational efficiencies and propelling organizational growth and profitability.
  2. Operational Oversight: Provide astute leadership and oversight across all facets of operations, encompassing manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, and quality assurance, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational objectives.
  3. Process Optimization: Spearhead initiatives to identify and capitalize on opportunities for process enhancement and cost reduction, championing the adoption of industry-leading best practices to bolster operational efficacy and productivity.
  4. Quality Assurance: Establish and uphold rigorous quality standards and protocols to uphold the integrity and reliability of products and services, fostering unwavering customer trust and satisfaction.
  5. Supply Chain Management: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain dynamics, minimize lead times, and expedite product delivery to our esteemed clientele.
  6. Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with key suppliers and contract manufacturers, fostering synergistic relationships that drive mutual success and value creation.
  7. Team Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation.
  8. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Implement robust performance metrics and KPIs to meticulously monitor and assess operational performance, furnishing senior management with actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  9. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate potential operational risks, deploying robust strategies and contingency plans to safeguard business continuity and uphold our commitment to unrivaled customer satisfaction.
  10. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure meticulous adherence to pertinent industry regulations and standards governing operational activities, upholding unwavering commitment to ethical and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in Engineering or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operational management within the technology or networking industry, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  3. Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence, process optimization, and cost containment initiatives within a global manufacturing environment.
  4. Exceptional leadership acumen, coupled with superlative communication skills, enabling the effective mobilization and alignment of cross-functional teams towards shared strategic objectives.
  5. Strategic foresight and a results-driven orientation, underpinned by a relentless pursuit of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  6. Proficiency in navigating complex operational landscapes, coupled with astute problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  7. Thorough familiarity with industry regulations and standards governing operational activities, including ISO, RoHS, and REACH compliance.
  8. Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required to fulfill job responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in a similar leadership capacity within the networking or telecommunications industry, demonstrating a keen understanding of the unique operational dynamics and challenges inherent to the sector.
  2. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other advanced operational frameworks and methodologies.
  3. Proficiency in implementing and leveraging ERP systems and other operational tools to streamline processes and drive operational efficiencies.
  4. Exceptional negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage strategic vendor relationships for mutual benefit and long-term success.
