The Software team designs and builds APP solutions for dashcam, body camera and external storage products for Android.

- DrivePro APP is designed for use with DrivePro dashcam featuring Wi-Fi connectivity, Live-view, File Browser, Media Player and Device Settings.
- DrivePro Body APP is designed for the DrivePro Body cameras featuring Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity, Live-view, File Browser, Media Player and Device Settings.
- Elite App is designed for use with external SSD / JetFlash / Card reader featuring file browser, file management , file encryption , media player and disk security.

We focus on designing and delivering the most helpful mobile / PC experience for DrivePro , DrivePro Body and external storage users.
The team works on the future of DrivePro dashcam , DrivePro Body camera and services through some of the most advanced designs, AI techniques, IoT, and Cloud services.

In this role, you will closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

[Responsibilities 工作內容]
- Implement and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable code for Android DrivePro / DrivePro Body / Transcend Elite APP.
- Design and build advanced, user-friendly Android applications.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness between APP and storage or cameras devices.
- Conduct thorough testing to verify the functionality and reliability of the application.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, product managers and designers to define project requirements and specifications.

[Requirements 職務需求]
- Master's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent work experience at least 1 year.
- Experience building applications for the Android using Kotlin or Java.
- Familiar with media streaming and playback programming, such as VLC, ffmpeg.
- Familiar with Bluetooth and network programming, such as socket programming and HTTP/UDP protocols.
- Familiar with file management access method and permissions.
- Knowledge of figuring out the problem from different Android OS version.
- Utilize Git for version control and code collaboration.
