Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance and Operations Manager to join our team. The Finance and Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and general administrative functions of the company. This position requires a deep understanding of finance and accounting principles, as well as experience in managing day-to-day office operations. Additionally, the Finance and Operations Manager will be responsible for preparing for board meetings and providing financial insights to the executive team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the financial activities of the company, including budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
• Coordinate and manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense management.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to the executive team for strategic decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for board meetings, including financial statements, key performance indicators, and financial projections.
• Collaborate with CEO to handle employee onboarding, benefits administration, and other HR-related tasks.
• Oversee office administration and operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment.
• Evaluate and implement systems and processes to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA qualification is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial management and operations, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
• Experience managing budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of HR practices and office administration.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience preparing financial reports and presentations for board meetings is preferred.
