Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Blockchain Developer to join our team at Giloo. As a Blockchain Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of our Web3 product line, focusing on token-gated content, composable profiles, NFT tooling, and smart contract functionality. Your expertise in Solidity and blockchain technologies will be instrumental in building solutions that change the way how film/entertainment industry flourish in the future!

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts to support token-gated content, composable profiles and identities, NFT tooling, and other Web3 features.
• Collaborate closely with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
• Implement blockchain-related components, such as decentralized storage, identity systems, and transaction processing, to ensure secure and efficient operations.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of smart contracts to ensure reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technologies, tools, and frameworks, and proactively recommend improvements and optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to integrate blockchain functionality seamlessly into our platform.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and security vulnerabilities in the blockchain infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and provide technical guidance to other team members.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of proven experience in software development, with 1+ years in blockchain related field.
• In-depth understanding of blockchain technologies, including the EVM or other blockchain platforms.
• Proficiency in Solidity and the ability to write efficient, secure, and well-documented smart contracts.
• Familiarity with decentralized storage solutions, identity systems, and other blockchain-related components.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges and security vulnerabilities.
• Experience with blockchain development tools, such as Truffle, Remix, or Hardhat.
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend frameworks is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Passion for blockchain technology, Web3 concepts, and the decentralized economy.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and explore new advancements in the blockchain space.
