Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at CheckCheck, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative software products. Specializing in mobile applications for product authentication, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, automate testing processes, and identify any product issues before they reach our users. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our application, focusing on functionality, performance, and user experience to maintain and enhance our market-leading position.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for our software applications, with a focus on automated and manual testing strategies.
• Work closely with the development team to understand product specifications and functionality, ensuring thorough testing coverage.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, providing detailed feedback to development teams.
• Advocate for quality assurance best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are met and maintained.
• Participate in code reviews and QA meetings to discuss testing priorities and outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends, applying them to improve the QA process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance testing, with a proven track record in testing mobile applications and web apps.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
