Responsibilities:

• New product firmware design
• Create & review firmware related specifications and documents
• Test and verify firmware to ensure requirements are met
• Work with cross-functional teams to support product requirements

Minimum qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in firmware development.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Embedded firmware development experience with C/C++
• Experience with using Git as version control tool
• Experience with sensor and/or motor survey and selection
• Familiar with MCU controller such as ARM, STM32 / NXP
• Hands on experience in bring-up of new MCU platform from scratch (8 bits/16 bits or 32 bits MCU)

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in industrial automation
• Experience in motor / pump controls, sensor related FW development
• Experience in Pigweed library
• Deep understanding of how to develop low latency MCU FW.
• Experience with bash shell scripting and Python
• Multiprocessor communication FW development experience with I2C/SPI/RS485/CAN is a plus.
