The current team at Aimazing is mainly responsible for application development in the Retail Tech area. We are looking for software engineer who specializes in data quality and is passionate about data engineering validation.

As a software engineer, you will work in a small but fast-paced team and be responsible but not limited to diving deep into data collected from various POS to identify data quality gaps, discovering patterns, and building real-time anomaly detection into the data pipeline. You will work closely with Product, Frontend, Backend and Data Operations team to identify and implement new methods to improve data reliability and quality of data pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop real-time anomaly detection service.
• Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot data quality issues.
• Propose solution for data quality issues.
• Design and implement data pipeline with Product, Frontend, Backend and Data Operations team.
• Discover data characteristics and provide insight for development.
• Research and implementation to improve receipt OCR accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in SQL
• Experience in Python
• Experience in Statistics analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Node.js
• Familiar with the concept of RESTful and REST API frameworks
• Experience in data quality engineering or data engineering
• Experience in OCR
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English
