What you’ll do:

• Create and manage a product development plan
  • Collect and prioritize product and customer requirements from the product owner and customers.
  • Define the resource requirements for the project.
  • Create and manage PRD and technical documents.
  • Create and manage the project timetable and tracking log.
  • Establish and manage the risk management plan.
• Lead Product Execution and serve as a liaison
  • Work closely with design and engineering to ensure go-to-market and feature release goals are met.
  • Work as a source of consistent information for all project team members.
  • Work as a scrum master to facilitate the daily scrum and sprint planning, and help the scrum teams to follow scrum practices.
  • Monitor the sprint progress and provide status reports to all related parties and members.
  • Assign tasks to team members, and help teams to speed up the processes.
  • Look for ways to improve operations with aims to do things better, faster, and cheaper whenever possible, but without sacrificing quality.
• Lead product deliveries and Ensure results
  • Plan product tests by determining what tests should be run and inspect the results for quality.
  • Execute product tests before and after the product and feature release.
  • Present beta versions to the partners and customers for feedback.
  • Lead product training by creating user instruction manuals and/or onboarding processes.
  • Solicit customer feedback, report issues and bugs, and pass these on back to engineering with priority.

Who you are:

• 3+ years of software project management experience.
• Extensive experience in project planning and implementation to prioritize work activities and accomplish project goals within set timeframes.
• Solid background in software development practices, testing procedures to comprehend engineering processes and development progress.
• Sound knowledge of the market and financial information to successfully complete assigned projects within set deadlines and timelines.
• Capability and knowledge to apply new technologies and techniques on various process control tools. (We are currently using Asana, Slack, GitLab, and Notion)
• Most importantly: You have a positive, energetic, and collaborative work attitude with a self-starter approach to work!
• Strong communication abilities in written and verbal English.

Extra credit:

• Experience in building social media and/or e-commerce marketplace experience.
• Work experience at a startup (preferably consumer-facing) at a fast pace.
• The actual experience of launching software products with limited resources.
• Strong communication in verbal Chinese.
